He is Missed But Is A Friend Forever

TONY & PHYLLIS KING

We met David & his fantastic family, through mutual friends the Nicoson's. As time progressed we became closer to the Shephard's as they are that kind of family that befriend's you for life and thereafter. David was not an outspoken man unless something was wrong, he could get vocal then. He loved all of his friends and co-workers that were friends. We are very sad in David's passing away, but the pain stopped for him. Janet & Louise will move forward with their lives and we plan on being just as good friends as we have this past 35+ years. We will always be here for you both; Being near Omaha, Nebraska does not preclude us from flying over for you. Thank you for allowing us into your lives and keep David's spirit with you both. David wanted all of the friends he had to remain friends with his family as they move forward. We shall remember him forever as will our friends. May he rest in peace.

In Loving Memory Of David Shephard

David and myself were stationed together at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, Nebraska; he in the Royal Air Force and myself in the U.S. Air Force. From that point forward (1980) we have had the most wonderful friendship that turned into a family relationship that will be forever; Forever Friends !! David was a wonderful person that would do anything for you and ask for nothing in return except your friendship. We showed him and his family America, and in turn, David and his family showed us England--what great times we had together--the kind of things that memories are made of !! David was a very kind soul and enjoyed doing things for people that could use a friendly hand with whatever needed to be done. David's family is the best; the people that we now call our English Family!! I will miss David greatly and always in my heart I know that his memory will be with me as my Forever Friend !!!! My sincere sympathy to Janet, Louise and all of David's Family !! I will be with you in thought always! ! With my sympathy, love and my best always and forever!! Steve Nicoson.
