POLLARD Myrtle Mildred Resident of Soham from 1917 until 1994. Passed away at the age of 99 years on 3rd March 2017 at her home in Leicester surrounded by family and friends. Myrtle was long remembered by the community in Soham for her strong spirit, dress making, and for running the tea shop on Soham high street. Her love for her garden kept her active and outside into her 90's. Myrtle was a beloved mother to Helene, a cherished Grandmother to 5 boys, and adored by her 3 Great Grandchildren. She is survived by her 3 dear sisters, and 4 nieces and a nephew. Myrtle will be reunited with her husband Wilfred George Pollard at Soham Cemetery. There will be service at Soham Chapel at 2pm on Wednesday 22nd March. The committal will follow on the same day at Cambridge Crematorium at 3.15pm. The internment at Soham Cemetery is at 2pm on 31st March. Flowers or donations to Cancer Research will be accepted at C.E. Fullers and Co.
